Involve Your Children

Genealogy is - I saw it defined once - the collection of ancestors. Ancestors, by definition, are those who came before us. Sometimes we genealogists - be it professional or hobby - spend too much time in the past. Too much time? Yea, I went there!

On Saturday, 21 April the Lancaster Public Library (Lancaster, PA) invites your children aged 6 - 12 to come "Create A Family Tree." The youth will create a tree craft. They will work with a parent, including their specific family names and information. This is a free event. For more information, call 717-394-2651 x124.
