Sunday’s Obituary: Joseph S Novakowski

I am searching the Novakowski family for a friend. I have found the last name spelled several different ways so I am casting a wide net. Today’s Sunday Obituary is part of the net!

His notice was on GoErie.com. It reads:

Joe was a member of St. Julia R.C. Church and the VFW Post 470. He was employed at Bucyrus Erie, Bryna Steel, and then Custom Engineering, prior to his retirement. Joe was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed time with his family. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army.

Joe is survived by six children, Joseph Novakowski (Eva), Alice Mando (Mel), Kurt Novakowski (Gail), Marie Darcie McDaniel (Chuck), Frank Novakowski (Barb), Felicia Fried (Harry); a sister, Anne LaLopa; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
