On This Day: Small Pox strikes Lancaster


Small pox was reported in Lancaster City On This Day in 1881. Several emigrants arrived in the City over the past few weeks and have scattered throughout the County. Four of those families moved into a house on West Lemon Street, where one of the women suffers from small pox.
