A commercial
college is announced On This Day in 1880. The college will provide young men
training in business education, penmanship, bookkeeping, and other related
classes. The college will be held in the “new” Rhoads & Bro’s building on West King Street .
The teachers are Messrs. Mosser and Weidler and the college is slated to open
on the 29th.
