Lancaster Mayor MacGonigle announced to the City Council that police officer George Lentz has been suspended, reported the Lancaster Daily Intelligencer On This Day in 1800. Lentz was suspended for 60 days, beginning 9 June, for drunkenness. Martin Daily is his temporary replacement.
