On This Day: Changes to Lancaster railroad announced

On This Day in 1880 The Lancaster Daily Intelligencer reported that changes would be coming to the Pennsylvania Railroad at Lancaster. Four miles of track at Lancaster would be built. This would shorten the line and would bring the Lancaster station a half mile further from the center of town.
