Cyrus Ressel was charged with fornication and bastardy with Catherine Hoover of Providence Township (Lancaster County) , reported the Lancaster Daily Intelligencer On This Day in 1880. Peter Miller (1838 - 1913) is buried at the Clearfield United Methodist Cemetery in New Providence, Lancaster County . He is buried near his wife, Mary (1836 – 1911).   Peter was born 22 February 1838 to Peter and Elizabeth Hoover Miller.
