Delbert Myers and Mrs. Theodore King, of Pike
County, eloped. Mrs. King had been thought to be an upright woman before the elopement, according to the Lancaster Daily Intelligencer reported On This Day in 1880. She left her little children behind. Fortunately Mr. King came home. Myers already had two other wives!
