A Quarryville man has been accused of rape and fornication and bastardy. These charges were made against Henry Shaub, barely 18 of Quarryville, On This Day in 1880. He appeared before Alderman McConomy. The charges were made by Mary Finefrock. She is described as “a young girl who is said to be of rather weak intellect.” Shaub was held for court.
