Tombstones were defaced in the Catholic cemetery in Lancaster
City, including that of John Hensler’s wife. Officer Lentz arrested four men On This Day in 1880 for defacing her marble tombstone. The four men were: Henry Steffie, Jason McEvoy, Edward Curie, and Albert Reidenbach.
